Fall Flavors Abound at Ocotillo Restaurant in Phoenix
Arizona finally feels like fall, and Ocotillo Restaurant in Phoenix is matching that energy with over a dozen new fall dishes to celebrate the harvest bounty. Available now at Ocotillo, located at 3243 N 3rd St., Phoenix, AZ 85012 in midtown, the fall menu is packed with dishes inspired by local and seasonal flavor.
Here are a few of the highlights:
Shaved Kale Salad - roasted squash, toasted pepitas, dried cranberries, parmesan, and maple dijon vinaigrette
Pork Chop - caramelized fennel and apple, braised pearl onions, apple cider mustard glaze, apple chips, and fried sage
Baby Back Ribs - coffee rub, maple chili glaze, roasted squash puree, pecans, and herbs
Bucatini - oven-dried tomatoes, basil, toasted garlic, Calabrian chili, garlic crumbs, parmesan, and red sauce
Baked Orecchiette - Italian sausage, Calabrian chili, white wine sauce, charred broccolini, bread crumbs
Cavatelli - roasted squash, prosciutto, shaved brussels sprouts, parmesan, toasted pecans, golden sauce
“Fall is our favorite season at Ocotillo. I’ve incorporated ingredients like squash, fennel, apple, cranberry, maple, and sage into these dishes to bring together the sweet and savory flavors of the season,“ said Michael Shirilla, executive chef.
Additionally, Ocotillo has a fall cocktail called Ember + Orchard made with Laird's Apple Brandy, dry Vermouth, Peychaud's bitters, pomegranate, and cinnamon. Plus, an expanded wine list and more beers, including many local breweries.
